Our general admission days showcase the breadth of activities available on site—from heritage railways and fairground attractions to expansive outdoor spaces designed for exploration, relaxation and shared experiences.
Alongside this, our special events programme has grown into one of the most dynamic in the region, seeing tens of thousands of visitors each year and attracting audiences of all ages. The Magical Santa Express, welcoming over 23,000 visitors, transforms Statfold into a festive destination filled with storytelling, tradition and unforgettable memories for families year after year. We are proud to be the Midlands venue for Day Out With Thomas, bringing generations together through one of the most recognisable and beloved experiences in heritage rail events.
As we look ahead, 2026 marks a major milestone in the continued growth of Statfold Country Park. Plans are underway to redevelop our entrance, improve the Museum content, rebranding of our retro roller disco as The Arena and offer a consistent calendar throughout the year.
At the same time, we remain deeply committed to heritage through our two national museums – The National Narrow Gauge Museum & The National Fairground Museum, further cementing Statfold’s role in preserving the best of our past for the future.
From February Half Term, Statfold Country Park will open its season with a clear aim: to provide a consistent, high-quality offering for every guest, every visit. Whether visitors are joining us for a school holiday adventure, a major event, a festival weekend or a quiet day exploring the park, our focus is on delivering an unforgettable experience.
The launch of This is Statfold Country represents confidence in our identity and ambition for our future. It acknowledges the scale of what we have built, honours our heritage, and creates space for continued innovation and growth.
