Join us for our summertime steam gala! Open Saturday, 7:30am to 5pm and Sunday, 7:30am to 4pm. First train rides will take place at 9am.
This summer, head on over to Statfold where you’ll find one of the largest collections of rare, unique and historic locomotives from around the world.
Over the weekend, we will be running as many locomotives as possible, so make sure you don’t miss out on all the experiences that you’ll only find during our gala days. From visiting the stations to see the swapping of locomotives and engines being turned on the turntables, to catching a ride down the mainline and looking out for engines parallel running.
Whilst here you can experience full lineside access for some fantastic photo opportunities, see locomotives on 2 different gauges of railway, explore fierce gradients and tight corners and more. Little ones can also enjoy a range of family activities.
Need to refuel? Visit Diane’s Diner, which will be offering delicious food and drink throughout the day.
That’s not all! The amazing Transport Museum Wythall will be providing free bus rides between Statfold Country Park and Tamworth.
Enjoy a 60 minute soft play session in our fantastic railway themed, 3-tired Toby’s Barn: Play and Climb! Or enjoy a 30 minute Clip n’Climb session too for just £5 per person (4 years+)
