So, what makes this show so special?
Well, for starters, it’s not just about model trains (though there are over 30 incredible layouts to enjoy). The event brings together beautifully crafted model railways, interactive displays, a hands-on Tech Zone, and over 40 specialist traders — all under one roof… well, three halls, actually!
You’ll find classic favourites like OO, N, and O gauge layouts, alongside more unusual narrow-gauge and continental setups. And if you’re into the ‘how it works’ side of things, the Tech Zone is the place to be — offering live demos on everything from scenery-making to digital controls.
But that’s just the start…
Statfold Country Park is also home to one of the world’s largest collections of narrow gauge steam locomotives, and during the show, its real steam trains will be running, giving visitors the chance to hop aboard and experience railway heritage in action.
Plus, new for 2025, the National Fairground Museum will be open on-site, featuring vintage fairground rides and traditional stalls (ride tokens available on the day). And don’t miss the Grand Opening of the brand-new interactive model railway display at 11am on Saturday — built in partnership with the Warley Model Railway Club.
To top it all off, this year’s centrepiece is a stunning full-size vintage steam locomotive – the 1882-built Hunslet 0-4-0ST “Hodbarrow”, proudly displayed between the halls.
Whether you’re bringing the kids, meeting up with fellow hobbyists, or just fancy a ride on a steam train, Warley at Statfold 2025 is a must-visit this autumn. See you there! Book your ticket now!
