Steam, Stunts & Smiles at Road, Rail & Ale 2025

Get ready for a heritage-packed weekend like no other! Road, Rail & Ale is back on the 13th & 14th September and is bigger & better than ever! We’ve cranked up the excitement to deliver a jam-packed weekend that celebrates everything you love...

And guess what? This year, we’re rolling in even more heritage, magic and exciting new attractions!

  1. Brand new for 2025, we’re proud to welcome the National Fairground Museum to the event! Think spinning rides, flashing lights, and good old 2p arcade machines. Not a fan of the rides? No problem! Dive into the fascinating world of showmen and explore the incredible history.
  2. We’ve gone all-out to bring even more smiles to little (and big!) faces. Magical Mayhem are joining us for the weekend, get ready for: Circus workshops, live magic shows and balloon artistry! Trust us, you’ll be WOWed.
  3. A heart-racing new highlight for 2025, the Wall of Death by Ken Fox is not to be missed! Watch as daredevil motorcyclists defy gravity and perform jaw-dropping stunts on the iconic vertical wall (extra charges apply). It’s fast, loud, and utterly unforgettable.
  4. For the curious and brave, Matt’s Minibeasts & Friends offers an up-close encounter with reptiles and creatures. Don’t worry, they’re friendly! A fantastic opportunity for kids to learn and explore the natural world in a hands-on setting.
  5. Plus, your favourite part… the exhibits! It wouldn’t be Road, Rail & Ale without the much-loved vintage trucks, cars, tractors, steam engines and more on show! This year we have over 500 booked across the weekend!

There will also be the usual offering that Statfold Country Park has included, such as the museum, steam railway, woodland walks, mini golf and more!

Turn your visit into a staycation and access some fantastic live entertainment on BOTH Friday & Saturday evening, with Fine & Dandy and The Secret Cabaret. Our food vendors & licenced bar will allow you to enjoy these September evenings, in the surroundings of the Staffordshire Countryside.
